Refund policy

RETURNS + EXCHANGES

Effective August 17, 2026. Applies to orders placed on or after this date.

We hope you and your pup love your Evergreen Dog Co. gear. But sometimes the size isn't quite right, the color looked different in your head, or your dog simply has opinions. We get it.

Here’s how our return/exchange/fix policy works, which is a little different for each product type:

MADE-TO-ORDER GEAR

Our BioThane® collars, leashes and other made-to-order gear are handcrafted specifically for your order: your size, your color, your hardware, your pup.

Unused and unworn made-to-order gear can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery, subject to a 25% custom production fee.

SOMETIMES, WE CAN JUST FIX IT.

Love your gear but something isn't quite right? Before starting a return or exchange, reach out to us.

Depending on the product and what needs to be changed, we may be able to modify your existing gear, shortening certain items, for example, for a $10 modification fee plus shipping both ways.

Not every product or adjustment is possible, but if we can save the gear you already love, we'd much rather do that.

RETURNS

Changed your mind? No problem.

We'll refund 75% of the merchandise price of your returned item. The 25% custom production fee applies only to the merchandise price, never taxes or shipping.

A few quick details:

  • Gear must be unused, unworn and in original condition.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Return shipping (both ways) is the customer's responsibility.
  • Applicable taxes on the refunded merchandise will be refunded.
  • Personalized or engraved gear is final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

EXCHANGES

Wrong size? Having second thoughts about that color? Want something different altogether?

Send your unused gear back to us and, once it's approved, 75% of the original merchandise price will be applied as a credit toward your replacement gear.

You'll simply cover any difference in price, applicable taxes and shipping on the new order.

STOCKED GOODS + ACCESSORIES

For pre-made products that aren't designed specifically for your pup, think tees, poop bags and other stocked goods, things are even simpler.

Unused and unworn stocked merchandise can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the merchandise price. No custom production fee.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable, and return shipping is the customer's responsibility.

Just contact us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and let us know what's up. We'll figure out the best option and take it from there.

WHY THE 25% FEE?

Fair question.

Unlike gear pulled from a warehouse shelf, our made-to-order gear is handcrafted specifically for your order and specifications. We've already cut the BioThane®, selected your hardware and built your gear before it ever heads your way.

The 25% custom production fee simply helps cover a portion of what went into making it.

Orders placed before August 17, 2026 are covered by the return policy that was in place when the order was placed.
